About
“Even if I ran away to sea, I wouldn’t past the three mile limit”. Written by, I think, John D. Sheridan, a columnist in the Irish Independant in the 1950s, and quoting a young man in the Emergency bemoaning his inability to leave Ireland.
Even if I left I’d be mentally inside the three mile limit. So here is a home for whatever celebrations and rants may come, triggered by life and news in Ireland in our new days of Emergency.
I am Cathy; Irish, living in Ireland and currently studying philosophy. I blog on Philosopher in a Phonebox about philosophy and philosophy related topics and am a contributor to the Irish fact check website Facts Are Sacred. I have a rarely used Tumblr and tweet as @cathyby.
